Quick, easy and stylish canapés that are great for any party. You can find pickled chillies from Middle Eastern delis and larger supermarkets.
- Small flat breads or tortillas 6, halved
- Hummus 200g
- Falafel 12 ready-made, halved
- Small pickled chillies 6-12 (from Middle Eastern delis and larger supermarkets)
- Flat-leaf parsley a small bunch, roughly chopped
- Lemon 1, halved
- Chives 12 (optional)
Lay the flat bread halves on a work surface. Spread ½ tsp hummus on each and put two halves of falafel one above the other in the centre of each. Add a pickled chilli, then scatter on parsley and squeeze over some lemon juice. Roll each into a cone, then tie with a chive to secure.
