Falafel Wraps with Hummus and Pickled Chilli

Quick, easy and stylish canapés that are great for any party. You can find pickled chillies from Middle Eastern delis and larger supermarkets.

Ingredients

  • Small flat breads or tortillas 6, halved
  • Hummus 200g
  • Falafel 12 ready-made, halved
  • Small pickled chillies 6-12 (from Middle Eastern delis and larger supermarkets)
  • Flat-leaf parsley a small bunch, roughly chopped
  • Lemon 1, halved
  • Chives 12 (optional)

Method

STEP 1

Lay the flat bread halves on a work surface. Spread ½ tsp hummus on each and put two halves of falafel one above the other in the centre of each. Add a pickled chilli, then scatter on parsley and squeeze over some lemon juice. Roll each into a cone, then tie with a chive to secure.
